Mountain Air Cargo, Inc. has many opportunities for Professional Pilots. We are currently operating Cessna Caravan 208 and ATR42/72 aircraft in the United States, Canada, and the Caribbean Islands.

While our main base of operation is in Denver, NC, we also have pilots and aircraft located in approximately 35 US cities, Puerto Rico and St. Lucia. Our seniority-based system determines domicile, compensation and equipment type. New applicants must be willing to move anywhere in our system. Upgrade from single engine to multi-engine is based on seniority and training.

PILOT POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Captain: Cessna Caravan 208 |
- 1500 hours PIC
- 2000 hours total time in addition to FAR135 requirements
- Current 1st Class Medical
- U.S. work authorization required
|
Captain: ATR42 and ATR72
|
- 3000 hours total time
- 2000 PIC or 1500 PIC with type rated aircraft experience
- 1000 Multi-engine
- Airline Transport Pilot with Multi-Engine Rating
- Current 1st Class Medical
- U.S. work authorization required
|
First Officers: ATR42 and ATR72
|
- 1500 hours total time
- 100 Multi-engine
- ATP Preferred
- ATP Written passed within the previous two years
- Commercial license with Multi-engine & Instrument ratings
- Current 1st Class Medical
- U.S. work authorization required

Training
Our training program is thorough and generous. We utilize various methods of training, such as instructor led classes, computer-based training, and simulator training. All of our instructors are seasoned veterans in this industry with years of practical experience that make their instruction invaluable. Safety is emphasized in every aspect of the job.
